Light air tonight, great new course! Thanks, to Crossfire for taking on this series as the Race Committee boat.
We are going to have some minor changes upcoming to the sailing instructions, so please check in before next weeks race.

HTML FilePDF FileWe are having some issues at the starts so I thought I would point out some important rules about the start.
Leeward boats coming up to the start are not required to give any room to windward boats, if a boat is able to come up to the starting mark and push you above the mark you must give way to the boat, and tack around to make your start, you cannot "barge" into the start by demanding room in order to start. If there are other boats above you that are also barging into the start, you must call for them to move up or tack as well. You are not entitled to keep a boat from coming up to the start, and you are not entitled to mark room at the start. If your actions require a leeward boat to sail lower in order to avoid hitting you, you have committed a foul and must take two penalty turns as soon as possible (you must keep clear of all boats while making the penalty turns).
