We had 28 boats out in wind that started out okay and died down to nothing. A and B fleets struggled to finish shortened courses, and the P fleet managed to make it around the normal course.
The series came down to very close competitions, we had a two-way tie in the B fleet, and a three-way tie in the A fleet. The scoring and ratings seem to be bringing everyone into the mix.
Congratulations to the SMYC Juniors who won the race tonight, and the series in the B fleet in their Santana 20, S Cape Goat. It is great to see the kids out racing and coming by the event after!
We had the traditional 5th race in a series Steak and Bake Potatoes dinner, the house was packed and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
Keep your eyes out for the new SI for Series 2 which will be published shortly. We will be starting at SS for the next 4 series, so make sure to leave time to get out to the start line.
Thanks everyone for supporting the Vic Smith Tuesday Night Trials!
